i'm probably late getting the news, but word is that Francis Ford Coppola is making a movie about 'an architect who dreams of building the city of the future, hoping to enable people to live in an utopia where people only do the work they love to do...'. At one point, Paolo Soleri was retained as a consultant to the director. does anyone have further information? i'd love to work set design . . .

Zap2it.com describes Megalopolis as being in the vein of Ayn Rand's novel The Fountainhead and that it's about "a real estate entrepreneur who wants to construct the title building out of new and cheap advanced plastic compound and the well-liked New York mayor who is out to stop him."
